We are the Freeman's. My husband Randall, his parents Jackie and Winston and me Mary Jane.
We are from Chalmette,La. I am setting this up to chronicle the changes in our lives since Hurricane Katrina.
Last July nan and I went to FOOTBALL 101, at LSU. We had a blast, and are planning on FOOTBALL 202 this year. This would mean we are back to normal. GEAUX TIGERS
These are a few pictures we took while on the Gulf Coast. The first is of a Casino, I think it is the Grand in Biloxi. The ithers are the cemetary and a house
In March we went to the houses in Chalmette, my in-law's house was to be gutted. ( It did not get done. ) The sponsor of the group was Senator John Edwards. He was very nice and sincerely felt horrible about how little progress has been made.
Jackie and Winston's beautiful chrystal chandelier. Winston had just hung this. It was in his father's home up on Larel St., in uptown New Orleans. The chandelier probably dates back to the 30's
Our puppies were only 3 and 4 months old when we left. Bailey ( the Westie) and Polly ( the Beagle)have adjusted better than us. They are now each a year old, and spoiled rotten. But we love our "children"
These are our house when we returned on October 3. The green one with the cow mail box is Jackie and Winston's. Mine and Randall's is the white one. It was very errie, wehad not been home in six weeks. Not a sound was heard. No birds, crickets, not even the buzzing of a mosquito.
